In a restored 1921 city power plant overlooking Cascades Park, The Edison serves Florida-inspired food and features beef from Jerkins Angus Farm, it says. Brunch is Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; dinner follows from 2 p.m. on weekends.

Jeri’s Midtown Cafe at Market Plaza

Jeri’s, 1370 Market St., Suite 1, opens for weekend breakfast and lunch: Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed Mondays and open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday to Friday. It takes reservations and online orders through its site.

Madison Social

At 705 S. Woodward Ave., Madison Social bills itself as “Tallahassee’s Social House.” Its weekly calendar lists brunch Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and its brunch menu is on the site. It opens at 10 a.m. both weekend days, takes reservations online and posts a separate game day menu.

Table 23

In a restored house in Midtown, Table 23, 1215 Thomasville Road, serves Southern food and has a second-floor event space and an outdoor porch bar, it says. Sunday brunch is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; dinner is 4 to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday. It has a kids’ menu.
