Tallahassee’s Mexican restaurants line its main roads: Apalachee Parkway (Casa Grande, Chipotle, El Jalisco, Pedro’s), North Monroe Street and Midtown (Maria Maria, El Jalisco, C|G Casa Grande, El Rey, Surcheros) and West Tennessee and Tharpe streets near Florida State (Pancho’s, Talkin’ Tacos, San Miguel, Loco’s).

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Tallahassee’s city limits, the same records that feed our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 11, 2026. Places with no website, and places the map missed, are confirmed from Florida’s restaurant license records, with addresses checked against the U.S. Census Bureau’s city-limits map. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. A place can write to us to correct its entry.

Casa Grande Bar and Grill, 3212 Apalachee Parkway. A family Mexican restaurant taking takeout orders by phone.

Chipotle, 1498 Apalachee Parkway. The burrito chain’s locator lists three more city stores: 1801 W. Tennessee St., 3425 Thomasville Road and 699 W. Gaines St.

Echalee Mexican Grill, 515 John Knox Road. No website; the state inspected it in September 2026.

El Jalisco, five locations. A regional Mexican chain.

El Rey Tacos and Beer, 1122 Thomasville Road, Suite 8. A Midtown taco and beer place. No website; the state inspected it in August 2026.

Las Brazas Mexican Grill, 1887 Capital Circle NE. A family-owned Mexican restaurant offering takeout and curbside pickup.

Taco Bell on West Tennessee Street lists hours to 5:30 a.m. most nights. Among sit-down restaurants, Pepper’s and Pancho’s list 11 p.m. closings on Friday and Saturday.

Is Maria Maria open on Sunday?

No. Maria Maria, 1304 N. Monroe St., is closed Sunday and Monday and closes between lunch and dinner the rest of the week, its site says.
