Bradfordville is the area north of Tallahassee along Thomasville Road (U.S. 319). Our boundary is the Bradfordville Study Area, about 27,750 acres, which the 2050 Comprehensive Plan defines from the Bradfordville Sector Plan the Leon County Board of County Commissioners adopted on July 11, 2000. Development in its unincorporated part follows county standards based on that plan. Most of it is outside city limits, so Leon County government, not the city, provides most services there.

Where it is

On the county map, the study area spreads north and east of the city’s northern edge, with Centerville Road toward its eastern side, Bull Headley Road toward its western side and Lake Iamonia Drive at its northern end. Thomasville Road, Bradfordville Road and Bannerman Road are its main roads. It takes in all of Killearn Lakes, a separate development of regional impact that the county map places entirely outside city limits.

Fewer than one in 10 carries a unit number, which on the county’s map marks apartments, townhomes and offices; the rest are mostly houses.
