The Grand Parade
The parade has more than 100 units: decorated floats, marching bands, dance groups, Springtime krewes and community groups from across North Florida and the Southeast. The festival says it draws more than 70,000 spectators a year. The first parade was in 1968.
Route: it steps off on Monroe Street just south of Brevard Street and heads south through downtown, past the Florida Capitol, ending at Madison Street. The festival had not published a 2027 street-closure list as of Oct. 10; the parade page carries a downloadable route map, so check it before you drive downtown that morning. Fox News anchor Shannon Bream, a Tallahassee native, was the 2026 grand marshal.
Jubilee in the Park

In 2026, the Capital City Band of Tallahassee State College played pre-parade music at Ponce de Leon Park, a community stage ran in McCarty Park, and the Jubilee Music Stage was at College and Adams streets.
