State report card

Florida grades every public school A to F each year. The grade is the share of possible points a school earns on state test results and learning gains and, for middle and high schools, acceleration measures and, for high schools, the graduation rate, according to the Florida Department of Education.

School year Grade
2025-26 B (61% of possible points)
2024-25 C
2023-24 C

From the state’s 2026 school grades file, the share of students scoring on grade level on the state tests in 2025-26:

  • English language arts: 59%
  • Math: 57%
  • Science: 55%
  • Social studies: 84%
  • Third grade English language arts: 46%
  • Middle school acceleration: 83%

Admission

The school’s enrollment page says applications for 2026-27 opened Dec. 10, 2025, with a lottery on March 1, 2026, if applications exceeded seats. When a grade is full, all timely applicants have an equal chance in a public lottery; later applications go to the bottom of that grade’s waiting list.

The school describes itself as a tuition-free K-8 STEM charter school accredited by Cognia, with gifted education and academic teams including Science Olympiad, Math Olympiad and robotics.

Leon County Schools says charter schools are schools of choice and that families should contact the school directly; its charter schools page links all four Leon County charters.
