Fall Farm Tour, Oct. 10-11

The 19th annual Fall Farm Tour is a free, self-guided weekend at farms, ranches, groves and gardens across north Florida and southwest Georgia, hosted by the Millstone Institute of Preservation. The 2026 guidebook lists each stop’s hours; do not arrive before or after them. Tallahassee stops include:

  • Millstone Institute, 6500 Old Millstone Plantation Road: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, with an artisan village of local crafts people, growers, bakers and makers.
  • Orchard Pond Organics, 400 Cedar Hill Road: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
  • Tallahassee Farmers Market, 2904 Kerry Forest Parkway, and the UF/IFAS Leon County demonstration garden, 615 Paul Russell Road.

Tour rules from the guidebook: leave pets at home, stay out of private homes, children under 16 need an adult, and never feed farm animals without permission. The guide also asks visitors to knock dirt off their shoes between stops, because a pasture mealybug that can kill grass has been found in north Florida.

Pumpkin patches

As of Oct. 10 we found no 2026 hours published by Tallahassee’s church pumpkin patches. The farm tour guidebook promises a chance to “pick a pun’kin” at participating farms; check each farm’s page in the guide. We will add patches when their organizers post dates.
